Flightstar provides charter services for the university, including the football team, along with line service and fueling for the school’s fleet of training aircraft. The service center’s general aviation technicians handle maintenance and avionics for retail customers as well as the managed aircraft. “Our technicians are very experienced on all types of general aviation aircraft, and they excel in caring for Global, Challenger, Learjet, Falcon and King Air aircraft,” Giannetti said. “Our airline maintenance division is unique. It provides indepth, overnight maintenance on Embraer regional jets every night, seven days a week, 365 days a year. Our experts have a breadth and depth of expe-
rience not commonly found elsewhere.” Flightstar is an authorized Honeywell service center for the TFE731 series, HTF7000 and Honeywell APUs, capable of maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting and repair. In early 2012, Bombardier named Flightstar an authorized service facility for the Learjet 40 and 45 series aircraft. “We have grown slowly and carefully during the last 30-plus years by gradually expanding into areas of opportunity,” Giannetti said. “Loyal client relationships – some for more than 30 years – have been a big part of our ability to stay strong and grow.
