If the box on its way out is still serviceable, he might add it to his ever-changing inventory of used equipment listed for sale on his website. Almost as an afterthought, he said it “seems like people who used to have Bonanzas are now flying RV-9s.” One of his more interesting jobs, he said, was not the work, installing a GPS, but how he got to the airport. It was on Washington Island, and the only way to reach it is on the car ferry that runs from the end of the Door County peninsula.
