Field Service engineer
The World leader in the general aviation automatic flight control systems is seeking highly motivated individuals interested in working in a stimulating and challenging environment. This candidate will represent the Company as the primary point of contact for issues dealing with all aspects of the customer and Company Dealer/OEM activity. Assist Dealer/OEM engineering and installation personnel with technical and product support requirements. Assists with on-site support of Dealer or OEM certification programs. Coordinates activities with the general aviation product support group to satisfy customer requirements. Provide technical representation on field service trips to various locations in the United States, and abroad. A degree in electronics with a minimum 3-5 years of avionics experience in installation and repair activity, or equivalent combination of experience. Ability to troubleshoot avionics and related aircraft systems to component level. Must have a basic understanding of FAA procedures and certification processes. Effective verbal and written communication skills as well as effective customer relation skills required. Must be reasonably knowledgeable in MS office products: i.e. Word, Excel, and Outlook. Wisconsin Aviation, Inc. Avionics Technician – Madison
With over 30 years of service, Wisconsin Aviation is one of the Midwest’s most progressive Aviation Service Centers. Full-time, 1st shift position reporting to the Avionics Service Manager. We are currently searching for an experienced avionics technician to add to our team. The position involves avionics testing, troubleshooting, installing systems on a wide variety of piston, turbine and light jet aircraft in the GA market. Must be able to work with minimum supervision, be task and detail oriented and enjoy learning new skills. Requirements: 1-3 years experience as an avionics technician preferred. Recent graduates of Avionics programs will be considered. An FCC General and A/P license is a plus. Must have strong knowledge of general aviation electrical and electronic systems, flight instruments and components. Must possess the ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints and installation instructions.
