AVIONICS released the

Digital Discrete Switch data converter
with a purchase order from a major
business jet manufacturer. According
to the company, the DDS was derived
from Shadin’s versatile AIS-360 digital
platform, and requirements were defined
by an urgent customer need to keep
their aircraft introduction schedule on

track. The flexibility and modularity of the
AIS-360 platform enabled the customerdefined DDS box to be developed
and qualified in less than one month;
meeting the customer’s need with a
cost-effective, certifiable solution.

announced two promotions and one new position.
BAYLEE
CUNNINGHAM was promoted to
engineering specialist. Cunningham will focus on
project status reports, creation and format of technical
data, management of technical documents and
certification of new products.
RYAN REID was promoted to sales account
manager and chief pilot. Reid will perform sales
account management responsibilities for a number
of OEM accounts along with aftermarket customer
accounts and programs. As chief pilot, Reid will
be responsible for flight procedures, pilot training,
aircraft maintenance tracking and flight testing of new
products.
TRACY
VETRUBA
joined the company’s
engineering department as mechanical design
engineer. Vetruba received a bachelor’s degree
in mechanical engineering from the University of
Minnesota. He held engineering positions at Cool
Mask LLC, Pro Design Engineering and General
Mills before joining Mid-Continent Instruments and
Avionics. Vetruba also is a licensed private pilot.

announced Coast to Coast Helicopters,
one of Canada’s largest air fleet
operators, has selected Latitude's
IONode FDM system for installation on
a Bell 212 going into service for Coast to
Coast subsidiary Mustang Helicopters,
based in Blackfalds, Alberta. According
