Station Training Course at
AEA Headquarters, Dec. 8-12
The Aircraft Electronics Association's
commitment to training continues as it plays
host to a Certified Repair Station Training
Course, Dec. 8-12, at the Dan Derby Center for
Professional Development in Lee's Summit, Mo.
This week-long course is divided into training
modules designed for the startup repair station, as
well as mature operators looking to improve their
understanding of the regulations, perform internal
audits and write repair station manuals.
Presented by Ric Peri, AEA vice president of
government and industry affairs, this course is
appropriate for quality managers, technicians,
mechanics and repairmen who are involved in the
management of a repair station, as well as individuals
looking to establish a Part 145 repair station.

AEA Regional Meetings conclude in Sydney
The 18th annual AEA South
Pacific Regional Meeting took
place Nov. 12-13 in Sydney,
Australia, with a record-breaking
attendance and the largest number
of exhibitors in its history. Nearly
140 attendees took part in two
days of training classes, and 26
manufacturers filled the exhibit
hall with the latest products and
services available on the market.
The event was the seventh and
final AEA Regional Meeting
of the year. The 2015 dates and
locations will be announced soon.
