marking using a digital micro mirror, a contact loader for a
handheld crimping tool, and electrical contact assembly for
aircraft aluminum wire.
Fast, Customizable Marking
In the summer of 2013, Tri-Star Technologies introduced
one of the fastest laser wire marking lasers in the
aerospace industry. The M-100L FG-TT Superfast 150
Laser Wire Marker is a portable, fully automatic turnkey
system capable of creating indelible, high-resolution
markings on wire and cable at speeds in excess of 150 feet
per minute.
If you want to handpick the printed design, you can. Userfriendly software offers hundreds of combinations of styles
and sizes. You can add pictures, logos and barcodes, too.
"The marking will not damage the wire's surface, which
is crucial to safety and reliability," Kerner said. "The
higher quality and clarity of marking offer greater security.
Plus, the faster speed means that marking is no longer a
production bottleneck and is now as fast as the rest of the
production line."
