department, SEA has developed a light
attack helicopter program with multiple tactical communications, FLIR,
Hellfire missiles, rocket launcher, 50
cal machine gun and mini-gun.

Jimmy Temple

Temple Electronics Co.
Temple Electronics was founded
in 1972, by Jimmy Temple's father
at Houston's Hobby
Airport. Temple began
working for Temple
Electronics in 1976, at
the age of 13, policing
hangar, parts inventory
and other general duties
as needed. By the age of 16, Temple
was marking wires and building system
harnesses on the bench to be installed

into aircraft and assisting point-to-point
checks on system installations.
After graduating from high school,
Temple began working for Temple
Electronics full time as an installer.
During the next decade, he worked
his way up from an installer to bench
technician to flight line troubleshooting
specializing in AP FD systems.
The 1990s brought new equipment
technology, GPS, and a faster-than-ever
changing environment in which the
aviation community thrived. In 1995,
Temple became the day-to-day manager
at Temple Electronics.
In 1998, Temple married the love of
his life, Janet, and life and work could
not have been better. In Temple's spare
time, he likes to camp, hike, bike, and
play golf and poker. Throughout the
years, Temple has found the avionics

industry to be ever changing and harder
than ever to survive. He feels the AEA
brings much needed teamwork and networking to the industry.

Brian Wilson

Banyan Air Service
Brain Wilson was introduced to the
avionics industry in December 1977,
when he joined the
Navy during his senior
year of high school.
He and his best friend
joined under the buddy
program. Wilson was
assigned to avionics.
Wilson grew up in Pennsylvania
where he was very involved in sports
and fishing and didn't know anything
