recently
completed its second Falcon 900B
project with Universal Avionics' EFI890R cockpit retrofit upgrade installed.
According to the company, the second
aircraft also showcases a newly
designed interior, paint and fully digital
HD cabin/management/entertainment
system.
The EFI-890R cockpit upgrade
replaces 25 older instruments and
improves reliability and situational
awareness.

DUNCAN
Avidyne's AXP340
AVIDYNE received TSO (technical standard order) and ETSO (European
TSO) approval for the new AXP340 Mode S Transponder with ADS-B Out.
The AXP340 transmits ADS-B information via extended squitter to appropriately-equipped ground stations and other ADS-B In-equipped aircraft, providing
improved airborne surveillance as well as vital information for airport ground
surveillance.
According to the company, equipping with an AXP340 allows general aviation
aircraft owners to meet the Federal Aviation Administration's NextGen mandate,
as well as international requirements for ADS-B Out.

Cutter Aviation
Beechcraft Corp. named CUTTER AVIATION's location in Phoenix, Ariz., as an
authorized service center for the Beechjet/Hawker 400 XP series aircraft.
In addition, the Cutter operation in Phoenix was recently awarded the ASC
ratings for the King Air and piston aircraft.
