manufactures pitot-static test sets
and adapters, leak detectors, bonding
testers, and battery testers for the
aerospace industry.

ATEQ-Omicron's EEST 650 Workshop Edition Battery Analyzer provides a
charge/discharge and analyzes any type of aircraft battery.

ATEQ-Omicron.

lightweight and portable ADSE 650 in April 2014.
The RVSM-compliant pitot-static tester is designed
for all aircraft up to 60,000 feet and 650 knots.

general aviation aircraft.

"We are often willing to spend the extra time
necessary to focus on a solution that works for
each individual customer. Sometimes that may
be as extensive as tweaking software to fit a
specific application for them, or as simple as
just being available for technical support when
the customer has a question."
Introducing new test sets
In April, the group introduced its ADSE 650
Pitot-Static Test Set at Aviation Week's 2014
Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Conference
in Phoenix, Arizona. ATEQ-Omicron's
engineers designed the test set to be lightweight
and portable.
"Weighing only 13.22 pounds and being
only 13.3 inches wide makes this test set a
very exciting introduction to the ADSE line of
equipment," Brousseau said.
Technicians can operate the ADSE 650 via a wireless
tablet. The system's internal pumps allow up to 60,000 feet
altitude and 650 knots airspeed.
"The EEST 50-60 battery tester series is another exciting
addition to our product line," Brousseau continued. "It
utilizes automatic programming for easy operation with any
type of battery. We offer it in a standard 19-inch lab rack
size as well as a compact test bench size."

While it has taken some time for ATEQ-Omicron to settle
into the U.S. market, it has finally found its stride.
Brousseau said, "Our customers have been very happy with
our test equipment, but nonetheless, the starting conversation is
almost always, 'We have never heard of you guys' or sometimes
'Yes, I believe our colleagues in Europe recommended your
instrument to us.' We are changing that now with every satisfied
customer that has an ATEQ-Omicron product in their facility
within the United States and Canada." q
