Flying Club Texas/BPA, where he
sponsors 16- to 18-year-old high
school students from all over the
country to come to Houston to learn
how to fly airplanes. Each student
spends two weeks at Texas Southern
University in July for ground-school
training with 10 hours of flight
training. The $3,500 per student
program cost is free to the students.
He also serves on the Texas State
Technical College advisory board for
avionics. Miller is thankful for all
the AEA members, the AEA board
of directors and the AEA staff he has
worked with throughout the years.

Redimec s.r.l.
Since he was a young boy, Fabián
Oyarbide knew his life's path was
going to be connected with planes.
Always astonished by their presence
in the sky, he decided to enroll in
electronic engineering. In 1978, by
the age of 15, he started to study in
an Argentine Navy school. While
studying at night, he operated as
civil personal in the Argentine Army,
working as a technician repairing
aircraft navigation equipment.
With the aim of providing services
to different Argentine armed and
security forces, he founded Redimec
in 1994, and became an AEA
member company in 2001. At the

beginning, the focus was to solve
problems in the Mirage fighters
belonging to the Argentine Air
Force, and also in
other aircraft and
helicopters. As time
went by, Redimec
became an aircraft
repair station certified
by the ANAC,
enabling the expansion of activities
to the business and general aviation
sector. Becoming a member of the
AEA was the right path to follow in
order to meet the industry leaders
and become a strong representative
of leading worldwide manufacturers.
Being pioneers in joining the AEA in
Argentina, Redimec always has kept
in mind how valuable it is to be part
of such organization.
With more than 30 years of
personal experience, two certified
branches and more than 30 families
who depend on the company success,
Redimec keeps growing steadily.
The staff is composed of engineers
from different specializations,
high-skill technicians, and an
administrative staff who support all
activities of the company. With a
workshop that has all the engineering
required to design and get the STC
approval, Redimec has more than 70
approved STCs to modify different
types of aircrafts. This has generated
a solid reputation in the industry, and
it has positioned the company as one
of the leading cockpit upgraders in
the market.
Even though Redimec has had
to fight and endure the tide in
a country that usually has more
barriers than doors opened for
developing companies, Redimec has
always kept its strategy of flexibility
and constantly searching for new
opportunities, as well as hard work
and the premise of exceeding each
