Trainee-Mentor Luncheon
The Larry Ewing Memorial Trainee Travel Fund (LEMTTF)
provides travel assistance for Trainee Members of the Society to attend
and present their research results at the SSR Annual Meeting. The
LEMTTF is supported by donations, a grant from the NICHD, and by

To qualify for a travel grant from the LEMTTF, an applicant must
meet these criteria: (1) have been a Trainee Member in good standing of
SSR by the abstract submission deadline; (2) be the presenting and first
author of an abstract accepted for presentation (poster or slide) at the
Annual Meeting; and (3) have completed and submitted an application
for a travel grant by the application deadline.
The Trainee-Mentor Luncheon is Tuesday, 23 July, from 11:35 a.m.
to 1:00 p.m., in Les Jardins Restaurant (Room 720) on the seventh floor
of the Palais. This Trainee-organized event provides Trainee participants
with the opportunity to talk with an SSR scientist about careers and
science over lunch. Registration is required.
