reelection of President Obama, the Patient Protection and
Affordable Care Act (PPACA), colloquially known as ObamaCare, is
here to stay. Consequently, it is now very important that the American
people, especially physicians, understand exactly what that means.
Since not many of us are likely to read the 906 pages of legalese in the
law itself, let alone all the regulations that the Department of Health
and Human Services (HHS) will come up with to implement it, we

and the introduction of Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs).
