Beaufort Sea Alaska,USA Yukon Northwest Territories welcome The Campbell region offers a quiet, more remote alternative to the popular Alaska Highway corridor. Here, you’ll find fewer people, plenty of wildlife, and many scenic campgrounds to choose from. The region is crossed east/west by the Campbell Highway – paralleling the route of the Hudson’s Bay Company pioneer, Robert Campbell – and north/south by the historic Canol Road. Visitors to this area should watch for moose, caribou, black and grizzly bears, lynx, wolf, red fox, Stone’s sheep at Lapie Canyon and Faro’s distinctly coloured Fannin’s sheep.
