Dear Soccer Players & Parents Welcome to EduKick England–Soccer Development & Language Immersion Programs! EduKick England programs are a complete package of international travel, English cultural exposure, English language study & immersion, academic study and professional soccer training. EduKick is proud to partner with Bolton Wanderers FC International Soccer School http://www.bwfciss.co.uk and IJ Tours Ltd to ensure that participating players have “the English language & culture soccer experience of a lifetime!” The cornerstone of all EduKick England programs is our “Year Long” program. Programs Available:  Year Long Football Studies, September – May  Half Year Football Studies, January – May  Monthly Football Studies – September – May  Weekly Football Studies – September - May Peter Hayes (IJ Tours Ltd), with 17 years experience in education and academic management, is our EduKick England General Manager. Michael Brennan (IJ Tours Ltd) is the Course Director. Mick is a UEFA “B’ licensed qualified football coach and has a degree in Sports Science & Management along with a post graduate diploma from the University of Central Lancashire, as well as many years experience managing youth soccer coaching programs and soccer development programmes. Dave Bailey, BWFC International Soccer School Manager and his department are responsible for providing all of the football services for the programs. Dave is a UEFA “B’ licensed qualified football coach and is fully committed to the development on and off the field of the student players who attend an EduKick program. EduKick, BWFCISS and IJ Tours believe that living, studying and training in a foreign country is an invaluable experience that a player will never forget and the benefits of such an experience will be embedded positively into that individual for the rest of his or her life. EduKick England staff, keenly aware of the challenges that our boarding school presents to our players, are fully committed to our players’ overall education through our soccer development and language immersion program. Living, playing soccer and studying in England as a teenager or young adult represents an enormous challenge for both the participant and the educators and host families (who are responsible for the player’s education and general welfare). From the participant courage, effort and character are required to succeed. From the EduKick England staff, it demands professional guidance, supervision, mentorship and expertise in order to provide the required level of service to our young players. With this in mind, it is very important that participating students and their parents’ expectations for the program match exactly that which we are capable and confident of offering. That is why we have prepared this EduKick England Parent/Student Manual. Please read this manual very carefully as it will help you to better understand the EduKick England year long program and have a realistic idea of the scope of the program and its challenges and benefits. EduKick Inc. wants to reassure all student-players and parents of our 100% commitment to our EduKick players’ education and well being while attending any of our programs in England. We are committed to providing the service outlined in this document and we hope that you (or your child) will join us in England. Sincerely yours Joey Bilotta, V.P.
