BEL-AIRE | PERK The location in the city is the perk. Bel-Aire is centrally located, and close to major roads so it’s easy to get anywhere in Calgary. I like that there are no back alleys as the properties backyards adjoin. I take the dog to the resevoir in all kinds of weather. It’s relaxing and a place to think. The reservoir is beautiful when the hot air balloons fly overhead, and the paddlewheeler is on the water. Every year in Bel-Aire, we enjoy the Stampede breakfast in the park. I also love Halloween when the kids come by dressed up and the whole street is full of pumpkins and decorations. In the Winter there is a winter festival with skating and hot cocoa.
