from enthusiastic members of the
engineering community.
Within only four weeks of the
campaign's launch, OSPE's social media
following grew across all channels.
The OSPE team attends a variety of trade
shows to ensure that employers and
professionals from various fields understand
and recognize the critical role engineers play
to drive innovation and protect the safety and
well-being of Ontarians.

To communicate the many ways that
Ontario's engineers change our world for the
better, ads with our four featured members
and their stories took over the Toronto
Transit Commission (TTC) Subway, as well
as Guelph Transit and Ottawa OC-Transpo
vehicles for eight weeks in September and
October.

The quantitative data from the campaign has been matched by the tremendous
feedback and support that OSPE has received from our members, partners and social
media followers to date.
The news and excitement about Change the World has not only spread online,
however. Almost half of all visitors to the Change the World microsite have come
directly to the website by typing in the ospestories.ca URL. This means OSPE's Change
the World-themed tradeshow booth, transit advertisements, and campaign posters for
workplaces and universities have helped to expand the reach of the campaign.
The success, reach and potential impact of campaigns like Change the World are
dependent on the insights, support and enthusiasm that OSPE receives from our
members. The goal of the campaign is to inspire professional engineers and engineering
graduates to familiarize themselves with their advocacy body and to engage with
OSPE, so that together, we can drive positive change across the province. There is
strength in numbers - the more hands we have on deck, the more OSPE can advocate
for Ontario's engineering community.
We would like to thank everyone who has participated in the Change the
World campaign. There is still time to visit the microsite or to submit your own
engineering story.
