Viviosonic Inc. is a leader in the development of innovative technologies to enhance auditory evoked response detection. The company develops, manufactures and markets medical devices for auditory diagnostic measurement and newborn hearing screening. Here's what course participants had to say: "To be an effective manager in general is a very daunting task, especially for those who were promoted from engineer to manager. There is the need to look at problems not only from the technical perspective, but also, and more importantly, from the lens of the business. To that end, OSPE has previously provided professional development seminars in project management and financial training for engineers. However, a previously overlooked, yet critical aspect of management is being a leader. I attended the first OSPE workshop of the new "Management and Leadership Development Program" entitled "LM101 - The Art and Science of Being an Effective People Manager".
