A starry-eyed kid from the small town of Erindale, Ontario, I’ll never forget that journey. To this day I vividly recall every sensation. The sound of the train’s whistle as we set off down the tracks, the mesmerizing sight of the countryside unfolding outside my window and the warm embrace of my grandfather, who was waiting for me on the platform. Perhaps it’s not so surprising that I became President of what many experts have called “the best train experience in the world”. Being the best means we are constantly looking for new ways to amaze our guests. In 2012, I am thrilled to introduce a brand new route called Coastal Passage, which will connect the USA through Seattle, Washington to the Canadian Rockies. And we didn’t stop there. We are also expanding our glass dome fleet with SilverLeaf, our new single level dome service. Two new experiences - two more ways to explore the majestic Canadian Rockies. A trip onboard Rocky Mountaineer is a unique and unforgettable way to see the world. Truly, a journey of the senses. We look forward to seeing you soon.
