NOTEWORTHY

Ready, set, network!

Students and alumni made new contacts and exchanged a flurry of business cards at the Ryerson University Public Policy and Administration Alumni Association (RUPPAAA) speed networking event.

MESSAGE FROM THE RUAA

Write your own volunteer story

Great organizations are often great because of their people – their success is the sum of individual contributions.

Ryerson is certainly no exception. We’re lucky to have the support of exceptional volunteers, whose efforts collectively enhance the student and alumni experience. Check out the Volunteer Spotlight on RUBAA alumnus Jacob Alajajian for an example.

It is contributions like Jacob’s that will be recognized at the inaugural G. Raymond Chang Outstanding Volunteer Awards on June 20. It’s exciting to see the growing culture and commitment around keeping the Ryerson community strong. What a time to be a proud Ryersonian!

This idea of individual efforts leading to collective achievement is coming to life in new ways this year at the RUAA Board of Directors, through increased collaboration and common, board-wide goals.

Read more about these goals and how to get involved at Ryerson.ca/alumni.
