Packing for the camping trip is always a challenge….. Here’s a “bare bones” list to help you pack so you don’t forget the essentials. Essentials Waterproof backpack, lightweight suitcase or sports bag (something to pack everything in) Money belt ( with money, bank card, credit card and travelers cheques of course) Mobile phone, Iphone or Android loaded up with Thompson Okanagan Mobile Site Clothing Dress / pack for layering, sweater/fleece, t-shiRT and long sleeved shirts/pants, shorts, jacket Thinsulate products Rain Gear/ gloves Rainproof footwear, hiking boots, sneaker, sandals hat, sunglasses Tip: Pack clothing using the”roll” technique. Lay two or three items on top Toiletries / Health items Toothpaste/toothbrush Soap, Shampoo/Deodorant Brush/comb Wet Wipes / Toilet Paper Sunscreen/ Bug Repellant Bath Towel Plastic mirror of one another, smooth to flatten, and roll them up like you would a sleeping bag to save space and prevent wrinkles.. Tip: Buy travel-size containers for your toiletries and enclose toiletry containers in airtight plastic bags to prevent contents from spilling into your suitcase in the event of a leak.
