Restaurants within the vicinity include The Olive Room, Nobles, the Brew Pub, Lek’s Railroad Thai, and The Exchange and The House restaurants located inside the Renaissance. Currently construction is underway for the Down the Alley Entertainment District, a 120,000-square-foot alleyway meant for dining, entertainment, and laid-back living. Seven different property owners have come together—with the city’s blessing—to create a barbecue restaurant, Italian restaurant and wine cellar, rooftop bar, retail shops, country bar, office space, and upscale loft apartments. The project is at least five years in the making and will be unveiled in the spring.
