Many are located on downtown’s main street, Newcastle Street, within easy walking distance of each other. Colonial Mall at Glynn Place, located on the Golden Isles Parkway, features 100 retail shops, services, restaurants, theatres and hotel. A large number of smaller shopping centers are located nearby. Golden Isles Plaza, across from Colonial Mall at Glynn Place, offers a variety of stores, services and food. Glynn Isles Marketplace, at the corner of the Golden Isles Parkway and Altama Avenue, offers many national chain stores and restaurants including Target, Old Navy, Lowes and others. Cypress Mill Square on Altama Avenue offers several specialty stores and a grocery store. ART Brunswick and The Golden Isles is home to a large number of resident artists. Their works, in a variety of media, can be viewed and/or purchased at area galleries and specialty shops, along with works by regional, national and international artists.
