Here, the vast expanses of marsh grass that surround Brunswick & The Golden Isles are the most obvious reminders that seasons are slipping one to the next. In the late fall, the marshlands begin to lose their deep summer green hues and turn to gold. By mid-winter they are dormant and are almost completely brown. Come spring, the marsh grasses, nourished by rainfall and warming sunshine, quickly take on a bright, almost lime-green shade that soon mellows, once again, to the beautiful green expanses of the summer months.
