The brewery hosts weekly tours of the facility in Javisburg and is also home to a 14-acre organic farm, butchery, and restaurant. Sanctuary Vineyards, located in the popular Cotton Gin store in Jarvisburg, hosts free wine tastings on weekends. Visitors can tour the cellar daily. A scenic ferry ride will take you to Knotts Island, home to two family-run vineyards. Moonrise Bay Vineyards feature dry white and red wines, as well as sweet wines. They hold tours and tastings daily from 12-5 p.m. Their quaint tasting room includes a wood-burning bread oven and a large stone fireplace. Martin Vineyards and Orchard, also located on Knotts Island, produces white, red, and dessert wines. The vineyard is open for tours; tastings are held Saturdays 12-5 p.m. In addition to the vineyard, take time to visit the adjoining orchard. Visiting vineyards and breweries is a great way to sample new wines and beers, meet friendly and knowledgeable people, and enjoy the beautiful landscapes of the area.
