The Guilford County Bicentennial Greenway is accessible at PEC, along with foot trails. The adjacent Caldwell Park was established in honor of the Rev. Dr. David Caldwell (1725-1824), whose home and famous “Log College” school for young men were originally located on the site. Greensboro’s Public Gardens are facilities of the Greensboro Parks & Recreation Dept., developed in cooperation with Greensboro Beautiful, Inc.
