Bell Aircraft Museum, Inc. – Mentone Houses the personal collection of Bell. Bell, a Mentone native, was the manufacturer of the Bell X-1 that Chuck Yeager flew faster than the speed of sound, as well as many other aircraft. A newly constructed hangar houses Bell helicopters and historical information concerning the town of Mentone. Call for an appointment. Located at the start of the Tippecanoe River, the museum features an authentic Indian canoe that was found in Papakeechie Lake.
