Wright Brothers National Memorial, Kill Devil Hills. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This kite festival celebrates 105 years of flight with professional kite fliers from all over the world. Spectators can see a large kite including a 75 ft. octopus and 40 ft. mantarays, fly in the air at the base of the Wright Brothers Monument.
