The Golden Rondelle offers two films free to the public for viewing on Fridays: “Carnauba, A Son’s Memoir” is a deeply personal film that is a testament to the power and importance of family in shaping lives. “To be Alive” summarizes the joys of living for all ages and won an Academy Award in 1965 for being the Best Documentary Short Subject. SC Johnson Administration Building Designed By Frank Lloyd Wright 1525 Howe St., Racine SC Johnson’s worldwide corporate headquarters opened its doors in 1939. The Great Workroom with its unique columns, innovative use of glass tubing, and specifically designed furniture are among the features in this working environment that has been hailed as a “center of creativity.” Architectural tours are on Fridays only. Things to Do Wind Point Lighthouse Lighthouse Drive, Wind Point between Three and Four Mile Roads, Racine Built in 1880, the lighthouse is the oldest and tallest in operation on Lake Michigan. Fully automated in 1964, the building now serves as a town hall, but the grounds are open to the public. The tower is open July 6, Aug. 3, Sept. 7 and Oct. 5. Reservations required. 262-639-2026. Racine Art Museum (RAM) 441 Main St., Racine Houses the third largest and one of the most significant collections of contemporary craft in North America. With major exhibitions of new work, as well as from the permanent collection of the Charles A. Wustum Museum of Fine Arts, the Racine Art Museum focuses on ceramics, fibers, glass, metals and wood, which represent original and completing artistic expressions.
