Green Bay Road, Racine Exhibits feature a replica of a 1930’s vintage Sikorsky S-38 amphibious seaplane named “The Spirit of Carnauba” that was used in 1999 to recreate a 1935 flight by H.F. Johnson to the Brazilian rainforests in search of new sources of carnauba wax, a key component of Johnson Wax’s products at that time. The museum also features a SC Johnson Wax Taperwing, a restored Fairchild 24 and the Southeastern Wisconsin Aviation Hall of Fame. Free. Root River Steelhead Facility Lincoln Park off Dominick Drive, Racine DNR facility is used to collect eggs and fish for hatchery purposes.
