Visit www.racinedowntown.com or call 262-634-6002. 7 WIND POINT LIGHTHOUSE TOUR TO THE TOP Wind Point Lighthouse 4725 Lighthouse Drive, Racine Friends of the Wind Point Lighthouse will hold a climb to the top of the 108foot structure. Climbers can trek the 144 steps to the top of the lighthouse for views of Lake Michigan. Climbers will be able to walk out on the catwalk atop the lighthouse. The museum will be open. Guides will be available to answer questions. Hours: 10 a.m.4 p.m. Advance reservations required. 262-639-2026. October 1-31 APPLE PICKIN’ & SCARECROW FESTIVAL Apple Holler 5006 S. Sylvania Ave., Sturtevant A day in the country featuring apple picking, pumpkin patch, bounteous farm market-and many fun, hand-built scarecrows to admire. Demonstrations of corn shelling, hay bailing, threshing and sawmill (steam powered).
