Welcome to Knightdale!
Located in eastern Wake County, Knightdale, N.C., provides a host of activities for visitors
with a wide variety of interests. Offering festivals, parks, shopping, restaurants and much
more, Knightdale has all the luxuries of the big city with the feel of a small town.

at Knightdale Station Park (810 N. First
Ave.). The 73-acre flagship park includes an
amphitheater, playground, dog park, walking/
running trails and athletic fields. Knightdale
Station Park trails will soon connect with Mingo
Creek Park and Trails (100 Parkside Commons
Dr.), joining both parks together and to the City
of Raleigh's Neuse River Greenway Trail.
Harper Park (207 Main St.) is a four-acre park
with playground, tennis courts and shaded
woods and lawns perfect for a relaxing afternoon
with friends and family. A state-of-the-art Tennis
Center at Harper Park will be ready for matches

Festivals and events
Each season brings new reasons to celebrate
for residents and visitors in Knightdale.
Spring into action at the Knightdale Easter
Eggstraordinaire with egg hunts, music and
activities. Summer sizzles with fireworks at the
4th on 1st event on Independence Day. The

holiday season centers around Christmas on
1st Avenue with a holiday fair, tree lighting
If you are traveling with your four-legged
family member, Paws in the Park (March) and
Dogtoberfest (Oct.) are for you.
From May to Oct., look for the Market at
Knightdale Station Park (810 N. First Ave.) on
the second Sat. of each month for selections
from local vendors. Get ready to ride in May with
Psyched About Bikes, a fun event that includes
a bike rodeo, demonstrations and inspections.
If running is more your pace, lace up your trainers
for the Cupid Run (Feb.) and the Turkey Leg
Grab a bite
All this activity is bound to make you hungry and
thirsty. Satisfy your hunger with the town's great
selection of restaurants. April through June, and
Sept. through Nov., head to Knightdale Station
Park (810 N. First Ave.) on Thurs. for lunch and
dinner at our Food Truck Thursday event. The
dinner hour features live music every third Thurs.
Knightdale didn't forget about your thirst. Just
across from the park, you can enjoy a beer with
the folks at Oak City Brewing Company.
The tap house, beer garden and nano brewery
are family- and dog-friendly, with food trucks
Knightdale has all the shopping venues you
could ask for, from large stores to locally-owned
shops. You can discover one-of-a-kind furniture
at The Mercantile, unique finds at boutiques
and even locally distilled rum at Lassiter
