elebrated as "The Town of Friendly People,"
Wake County's eastern-most town offers
small-town charm to visitors and residents alike.
Everyone loves a parade
In Zebulon, you can see Americana at its finest
and most genuine. The annual parade, treelighting and outdoor pop-up market are all part
of Holiday Happenings in Zebulon, the first
weekend of Dec. Bring your chair and watch
homemade floats parade down our main street,
look for that perfect gift from more than 50 arts
and craft vendors and join our carolers when we
literally light up our quaint downtown.
Who's ready for the fair?
Zebulon Night Out is a community outreach

of fun for the kids. This night of free food, music
and games is a partnership between the Town
of Zebulon, faith-based and secular organizations
and local businesses. If riding through town on
a vintage fire truck while eating cotton candy
gets you geared up for a fair-well, you'll be
glad to know this popular event always occurs on
the second Tues. of Oct. just before the North
Carolina State Fair opens.
"A race without cake is just a run."
Congratulations! You've just placed in your age
group at our annual May Day in Zebulon 5K
in May. Your reward is a home-baked cake. The
competition isn't confined to the course, as our
local bakers see which confection the runners

trip across the lawn to our popular weekly

Farm Fresh Market (more on that later), then
cap off your day with a trip to Five County
Stadium as the Carolina Mudcats host their
Take me out to the ballgame
Speaking of the Carolina Mudcats, our minorleague team was recently purchased by the
Milwaukee Brewers. It's only natural for a smallmarket team to call a small town like Zebulon
home, but this is also an organization with
deep minor-league talent. Expect a heightened
level of play as we host the Carolina League
All-Star Game on June 19, 2018, but the high
expectations aren't limited to the playing field.
Cattails Restaurant sits atop the stadium's
first-base side and offers excellent dining and
a superb bar selection with climate-controlled
seating to watch the game.
The residents and merchants of Zebulon are
ready to welcome you to our hometown.
