Seabrook Island Golf What makes Seabrook Island golf unique? CROOKED OAKS Crooked Oaks, designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr., meanders through centuries old live oaks in a lush maritime forest. The undulating greens, well guarded by bunkers and marsh, feature Bentgrass putting surfaces. Always in excellent condition this links style course is a challenging, yet very playable. OCEAN WINDS A Willard Byrd design, Ocean Winds fits naturally into the barrier island topography. The course plays along tidal marshes and sand dunes out to the Atlantic Ocean and back with swirling winds providing a fresh challenge on each hole. “Champion” Bermuda greens, added in 2004, provide outstanding putting surfaces. The course offers superb playing conditions and is moderate to very difficult, depending on yardages chosen and wind conditions. Uncrowded playing conditions and beautifully manicured fairways and greens, plus 36 sunswept championship holes. Unlike all other Charleston area golf resorts, Seabrook is a stay-and-play resort and private Club, so Seabrook’s courses are open only to guests and Club members. This privacy assures resort guests a refreshing pace of play, available replay rounds, and superb service. Both courses will exceed your expectations in beautiful, undisturbed natural surroundings and challenging, championship play. Seabrook is a certified member of the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program for golf courses.
