Training partners are employed by learndirect scotland for business and are fully trained, experienced business advisers with the remit of providing training advice and support. The training partners will discuss your client’s training priorities and will help them to identify learning solutions that meet their specific needs as well as introducing a range of learning programmes and funding initiatives available nationally in their area. Our training partners will carry out an assessment to help your client to identify the learning needs of their business and their staff. They’ll then search our comprehensive learning database and suggest solutions that could address their training requirements. Training partners can also offer impartial advice on national programmes offered by partner organisations. How will this help you? There are five training partners covering Scotland: Gill Blair is the training partner for Dunbartonshire, Forth Valley and Lanarkshire Prior to joining learndirect scotland for business Gill held management and senior management positions with responsibility for staff development and training delivery in the hospitality and Information Communication Technology sectors.
