O bviously not perfect, but in three short
months I am happy with these results and
so is my patient. I am still planning on K oR
Whitening, anterior bonding and leveling
some of the incisal edges. Q uestion: I am not
quite happy yet with the position of tooth 7. Clinically, it looks a bit more facial than I would
like. What is the best course of action to take here to correct that? ■

I started using the Inman six months ago and love it. Rick will chime in here soon, but clear
aligners I believe are next for final tweaking. I am finishing four cases next month. I will post
pics when done. These are working great and my patients are thrilled. ■

You can finish with a clear aligner or two if the IA is spent. Do you have a pre-op pic of the upper
arch you can post? If you happen to have a pic with the IA in place from the occlusal view (like the
other pics you posted) that could prove helpful as well. O ne more thing: If you have frontal pics in
occlusal that could help as well. J ust trying to help for final tweaking as well as stability. ■

I love seeing these posts! Anything Dr. DePaul says trumps my suggestions ... he is the man! Regarding # 7, check to see if the labial acrylic is in contact with the facial of other anteriors; if so all facial
to lingual movement is completed. If it is in contact with # 7 but there is even a tiny bit of space between the acrylic and the facial of the other anteriors, simply remove the lingual bow for a few weeks.
There is a risk that the centrals will start to relapse, so watch this closely. Another option and maybe
a better one is to trim the lingual acrylic so there is space between the acrylic and the lingual of # 7.
O ther options: O ne or two clears. Spring Aligner correcting # 7 and becoming the final retainer.
U pper Hawley with clear acrylic on the bow resetting # 7 on the working cast before construction
becoming the final retainer. Sending the Inman back to the lab for modifications. We do this all the
time. We need a new model and suggest making an in-house suck down to use as a retainer until
we get the IA back to you. ■

Thanks Don. I took new PV S impressions and sent them back for lower clear tray retainer
and upper active clear tray for leveling # 7. ■

Any plans to bracket up an easy case? Powerprox has been the most fun addition to my practice. ■
