professional courtesy column A Magical Meeting Experience I have been a part of Dentaltown since our origin in the year 1999, and I am happy to say that I have attended every Townie Meeting since the fi rst one in 2002. This year, we are proud to host the 14th Annual Townie Meeting at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, Wednesday, March 30-Saturday, April 2. We call it a meeting because that's the term that everyone uses to describe it when more than 10 dentists get together in one place, but the fact of the matter is, this is much more than a meeting. Townie Meeting is a gathering, a reunion, a dental rave, a happening, and an educational showcase! The education Let's start with the educational opportunities. If this is your primary motivation for attending dental meetings, you won't be disappointed. We will have more than 54 hours of CE available to choose from. If you want to maximize your CE time, you could earn up to 22 hours of CE. For many dentists, that could meet their annual requirement-all in one meeting. Another special offering available for the first time at Townie Meeting is an all-day workshop: "Hands-on Treatment Planning-Townie Style." This special course, adapted from the Clinical Mastery Series, will be taught by some of its faculty, including Drs. John Nosti, Lee Ann Brady, Jason Olitsky and Mike Smith. The extras All work and no play makes for a dull doctor and a sad staff. Since the first year we started Townie Meeting, we have wanted to ensure that it stood out as more than just another meeting. There is the Wine & Cheese Reception on Wednesday, Superheroes vs. Supervillains Costume Party on Thursday, and an Exhibit Hall Happy Hour on Friday. If that's not enough, The Cosmo is located in the heart of the Las Vegas strip. You will have access to world-renowned entertainment and critically acclaimed restaurants. Townie Meeting is designed for the whole dental team because we have something for every member of your office. You won't be caught off guard by extra fees either, as the food and entertainment are included in your registration fee.
