I can't remember the last time I did that-this is what I do; I use the CBCT plan to tell me where the distal implants should be placed and I use surface landmarks (extraction sockets, lumps or bumps in the bone) to show me where to start the hole. Then, before I do any osteoplasty, I drill the distal pilot holes and take a PA of each side with a guide pin in the pilot hole-just like these two from this morning. When I've confirmed I'm in the perfect positions for the distal osteotomies, I can carry out any necessary osteoplasty, knowing I won't need those landmarks anymore. n 23/11/2016 v0g3L Member Since: 24/11/14 Post: 2 of 8 Do you have the images for the rest of this case? I would like to see what the end result looks like. Thanks. n 23/11/2016 22 WINTER 2017 // dentaltownuk.comhttp://www.dentaltownuk.com
