Tough Case
A female (10 years and three months) presents with chief complaint of her anterior tooth
absence. The patient is facially symmetric with mesiofacial pattern and incompetent lip.
Skeletal Class II mandibular deficiency SNB 76 degrees. She has an extracted lower right first
molar, deciduous D and E. On X-ray, the impacted center is inverted as well as with dilacerated root. I asked the parents about previous trauma, but they said no.
How can I manage this case? Any input would be greatly appreciated. n
This isn’t the only tough case out there.
