I took some records along the way so it is particularly well-documented for my office, as I only have two clinical assistants. I will not be able to put the entire case up at one sitting so I will add to it as I have time and will answer any questions that come up. Related Message Boards HSD Variation HSD Variation Cl3 HSD Cl3 HSD Chief complaint: U/L crowding of the front teeth. Absolutely refuses braces, wants Invisalign. This is typical for my practice. Class II right side with crowding, crossbite, severe midline discrepancy, mild to moderate crowding. Gave a two-year estimate. Explained about dark triangles due to shape of anterior teeth and the need for the wisdom teeth to be extracted. With Invisalign or braces, I am totally happy to see U8's. It will aid in the distalization process. The big tip: Do not extract until you have Class II mechanics going. With Invisalign, no big deal since I start elastics day one. Brackets need to be in steel rectangular wires. Aligner 15 or 30 weeks into treatment.
