A teacher who knows that a framework of biblical truth is essential to the true goal of education—godliness of character and conduct. A teacher who is willing to make sacrifices for the next generation. All across the nation, Christian schools need good teachers. A school’s administration may set the goal of a sound Christian education, and the parents may support it; but teachers make it happen every day. So it is vital for an aspiring teacher to have excellent training. One place to get such training is in the School of Education at Bob Jones University, located in Greenville, South Carolina. Graduates from the School of Education at BJU have moved into many educational arenas—Christian schools, public schools, home learning environments, private schools, and mission schools. The Division of Teacher Education focuses on training teachers for classroom or home education settings, with each major planned for a specific subject or age group.
