ExPlorE thE EstatE with kiDs club stan hywet members can add kids club to their membership for $15 or $10 online. kids club is a great way for kids to get to know the grounds and make new friends. kids club educational and social activities are geared towards children ages 3-12. kids club members will receive updates via email and suggest particular activities that best suit your child’s interest. children also receive a Garden Adventure Passbook to collect stamps upon each visit. the more visits to the estate, the more stamps they collect, and the more prizes they earn. now through october, kids club members can enter a Great Garden adventure contest for the most creative writer. for younger kids who want to be involved, there is a kinderGarden Preschool Program especially for children ages 3-5. Each meeting day has an assigned theme, such as exploring the apple orchard or getting ready for winter, and all session include a snack, creative activities, and discovery time. some kids club activities are free, while others have a nominal fee. a parent or caregiver is required to attend with the kids club member and are encouraged to participate. it is not too late to join, so contact sarah scherdt, membership coordinator at 330/315-3205 or join online at www.stanhywet.org. Dec 1 Great Hall Assembly Dec 6 Holiday Tea at Stan Hywet time: 11 am-12:30 pm Price: $10 members/$12 non-members What a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon! Come enjoy a tour of the decorated Manor House given by friends and staff members of the Seiberling family. Guests will enjoy tea served with real china while learning proper etiquette from the 1920s, all while practicing the art of conversation. Reservations are required.
