May 15: Coming to Light—Viewing of the documentary/education program time: 6:30-8 pm Price: Free to members Join us for a viewing of Anne Makepeace’s documentary exploring the controversial photographer Edward S. Curtis. Coming to Light tells the dramatic story of Curtis’ life, his monumental work and his changing views of the people he set out to document. Chat with Mrs. Mansfield, a friend of Mrs. Seiberling’s, in the music room about the women’s right to vote issue, take notes from the Seiberling’s personal chef as he prepares a meal in the kitchen and learn the secrets behind the head housekeeper’s huge ring of keys. May 18: Educational series: Dr. Cheryl Charles of the Children & Nature Network time: 2 pm Price: Free Dr. Cheryl Charles will talk about the “leave no child inside” movement and other practical ideas on getting your kids to connect with nature.
