Donna Elle’s clients are primarily summer residents. “We bring in blue and green hues from the landscape,” says Elle. “Taking in the blue from the sky and the water, the beige from the sand, and the green from the beach grass — I absolutely enjoy working with that color palette.” Elle notes that so long as P R AT TA N D L A M B E R T. According to Sandra Holland, an interior designer for Nantucket House Antiques and Interior Design, there are only 10 to 12 exterior colors that can be used on the island, and trims are limited to white or one of a few shades of gray.
