Due to growth in our business we are currently recruiting for a number of new positions for our Subtitling offices based in West London. Previous experience of working within a subtitling environment is not necessary for an application, but what are required are common sense, organisational skills, initiative, and the ability to work with absolute accuracy. Well-developed computer and keyboard skills are essential for all positions. The position of Trainee Subtitler particularly requires touch-typing skills. The role of Media Access Assistant involves liaison with clients, and with colleagues within the company; therefore excellent verbal and written skills are key to an application. The people who join us will be those who can indicate their abilities in all the areas outlined above. They will also be those who have demonstrated they are team workers but are able to work on their own initiative in order to cope with sometimes unforeseen situations and urgent, often moving, deadlines. Media Access Assistants work to a shift pattern; Trainee Subtitlers work on a standard Monday to Friday basis.
