This field-based role reports into the Senior Trade Merchandiser and is responsible for the execution of all Visual Merchandising, Retail Marketing and Retail Training activity for their relevant area. As this role will be working closely with our retail partners there will be a requirement to work some Saturdays. Working with the Senior Trade Merchandiser, you will execute and police the Trade Marketing plans for our key retail partners. Executing all in-store trade marketing activity for Rockport branded areas, you will ensure all product in-store launches and sell-in deadlines are met in line with the Trade Merchandising Calendar. You will coordinate and implement all in-store product training activity. Supporting the sales Channel Managers, you will take responsibility for the placement of all in-store marketing solutions and point of sale in store, as well as stockrooms and showrooms. You will report and audit all Trade Marketing activity, as required. This is a challenging role that requires flexibility of working hours and a willingness to travel widely within a pre-defined area. Educated to degree level or equivalent, you should have the ability to apply a creative, enthusiastic and practical approach in both an individual and team environment. The key attributes needed are a ‘can-do’ attitude, a self-starter, effective time management and strong communication skills. Visual merchandising and/or retail sales experience are desirable, but not essential. Please note that applicants must live in the region for which they are applying for.
