Ours will be just beginning. We turn lives around every day, by putting the individual at the heart of what we do. Inspired by those we work with, together we help people build a better life. Turning Point is the UK’s leading social care organisation. We provide services for people with complex needs, including those affected by drug and alcohol misuse, mental health problems and those with a learning disability. Support Workers Manchester We’re proud of the way that the new Smithfield Service is taking shape. Turning Point’s Drug & Alcohol Detoxification Centre in Manchester is undergoing a transformation at the cost of over £250,000. The result will be a brand new facility in February 2008 that delivers a better experience to clients and a better working environment for our staff. The real changes at Smithfield will go a long way beyond the refurbishment though. We’re looking for new staff who want to pioneer partnership working with other agencies and are keen to expand their skills across both drug and alcohol dependency. Whether you’ve got previous experience in this field, or are a recent graduate keen to get into the social care field, we’d like to hear from you. We’ll support you with excellent and ongoing training, as well as a clearly defined career plan. Like you, we believe in acting quickly and decisively.
