Subsidiary companies within the Group offer warranty protection on domestic appliances, electrical equipment and gas central heating systems, and also provide inbound and outbound volume call centre services and handle other outsourced fulfilment activities including direct mail. Based in Wimbledon, we are currently seeking an individual who has attained a mathematical based degree, together with A Level Maths, to work within our Statistics & Underwriting department as a Trainee Data Analyst. This key department provides underwriting for all our insurance activities. They are responsible for setting net premiums and monitoring profitability through analysis and reporting, both to Group and client management. adjustments and improvement reports to aid the team. • Creating reports for new/existing clients and for internal purposes. • Liaising with other departments to agree report structure and regularity for new requests. Wimbledon with some experience of working with spreadsheets. You should have experience of analysing, processing and manipulating large quantities of raw data and the ability to present findings to individuals in a clear and concise format. You should have a flexible approach with the ability to work on your own initiative. You should enjoy working in a team, be enthusiastic, and willing to learn. Key Responsibilities: To produce client and internal reports: • Updating, producing and checking existing reports within specific time periods in order to meet service levels. Implementing any Administration • Aiding the day-to-day running of the statistics department, updating worklists and dealing with ad-hoc requests.
