TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT As well as our range of accredited training programmes which will help you to achieve professional status, you will be supported by a trained mentor to complete our 3 year graduate portfolio. Supported through a range of internal and external training courses your programme will consist of 12 key skills including project management, financial management, contractual awareness, health & safety and environmental awareness. You and your new graduate colleagues from across the globe will also be invited to attend the 4 day Jacobs’ Graduate Weekend. In addition to professional training on team working you will be introduced to the organisation by our senior management team and of course given the chance to get to know your new colleagues. BEng Graduates will be supported through further learning (formally matching sections) INTERNSHIPS This year we have over 100 exciting student placement opportunities on offer across our summer and year in industry programmes. As well as developing your skills on world class projects, as part of our team you will follow a structured development programme designed specifically for students. Supported every step of the way by a mentor, your development objectives will include environmental awareness, health & safety, computer literacy, and communication skills. At Jacobs many of our students return for further placements or on scholarship routes to the Jacobs Graduate Development Programme which will support you to achieving chartered status and beyond.
