Worldwide equity and bond portfolios, valued well in excess of £1.25billion, are managed on behalf of churches and charities by integrating traditional investment tecniques with ethical criteria. Economics and financial related degrees are favoured but applicants from any discipline are welcome if they can demonstrate an interest in economic affairs together with a high level of computer skills and numeracy. The trainee position offers a wide variety of hands-on investment experience and includes sponsorship through the 3 year CFA study programme. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and is likely to have a strong church (not necessarily Methodist) involvement.
