Graduate Prospects - January 28, 2009 - (Page 9) www.prospects.ac.uk Issue 84 · 28 January 2009 · Fortnightly PROSPECTS GRADUATE 9 INTERESTED IN MARKET ANALYSIS, WRITING & RESEARCH? Nicholas Hall & Company is a dynamic and talent-driven organisation, acknowledged as the leader in its field. We are a Marketing Consultancy and Publishing House specialising in consumer healthcare and have an unrivalled reputation among clients around the world, such as Johnson & Johnson and Procter & Gamble, who rely on us to keep them informed. Yet we’re small enough for each individual member of the team to make a difference. We celebrated 30 years of achievement in 2008 and are still privately owned. Take a look at www.NicholasHall.com to see more. We have immediate openings for self-motivated individuals who can demonstrate initiative and ambition and who would welcome the opportunity to gain early responsibility in a fast-moving environment where initiative is recognised. We recruit mainly at entry level but are very interested in meeting people with work experience who can bring new perspectives to our company. Promotion is almost always from within, and we are looking to fast-track ambitious staff members into senior management positions in 3-5 years. • Writer (Reports Division) NHC1/109: You will be responsible for summarising market trends and data, and presenting strategic analysis clearly and concisely for busy executives. • Researcher / Writer (Periodicals Division) NHC2/109: To research and write for one of our B2B periodicals covering different world regions. Fluency in a second European language (in particular Czech, Hungarian or Spanish) will be an advantage. • Consultancy Team Members NHC3/109: Fast thinking analysts to work on confidential projects for clients in the consumer healthcare industry. You will need to work as part of a team, to understand clients’ needs and present information clearly and concisely – and keep to deadlines! All successful candidates must have excellent English and numeracy skills, an eye for detail and the ability to meet deadlines; ideally you will have a good degree (any discipline). We invite applications from non-EU citizens with a current work permit. Please send your CV and explain in a covering letter (no more than 200 words) why we should select you for interview – please mark clearly which position(s) you are applying for. All posts will be based at our offices in Southend-on-Sea, Essex; first interviews will be conducted in central London in early March.
